Anyone else here watch UFC? I think last nights fights were pretty sorry for the most part. I am of the thought that if they continue on with such fight cards I may not be paying the $49.95. I think it is a lot more entertaining than boxing and think that it will continue its rise, but many more cards like that and no one will watch. Just my 2 cents.

PS was great watching Mir beat Lesnar.

We've gotten really selective as far as what fights we pay for on PPV. The last fight we bought was BJ Penn v. Joe Stevenson. Gonzaga v. Werdum was on the same card. They show so many fights on Spike Fight Night on Wednesdays anyway. Besides...give the fights a little while and they come out on DVD and we rent whatever we didn't feel like paying $50 for.

We live and breathe UFC. Have fight parties for every fight. I liked last nights card except for TS. That guy gets lazy and loses.

As for Lesnar, he got robbed. Mir turned into that punch to the back of the head. While we're at it when has a fight every been stopped and a point taken for a strike to the back of the head. What happened to the warning that all the other fighters get. It wasn't like he hit him with 10 blows it was ONE. Lesnar had complete control of that fight untill he made that one mistake.

Lesnar is the future of the UFC and everybody knows it. He doesn't even need to learn submissions, he just needs to learn how to defend them. Mark my words 3 more fights for lesnar and he's heavyweight champion. 3 more fights should put that at about 1 1/2 years baring injury.

Rumor going around the UFC is that Randy Couture has offered to train Lesnar.

He needed beat to learn the respect of more people. I have a real problem with his and several others arrogance. All should act like GSP, Franklin, even Forrest Griffin. Yes Tim has been being lazy for a while now and he is losing because he has been fighting not to lose, but he almost looked like old Tim last nite, but did not push hard enough when he should of.

I do matial arts and a lil mma. I sort of disagree that lesnar is the future. He could be, but I def think has a lot of work ahead of him. Randy Couture is def the way to get there though. I think he should have took a year or two refining skills in BJJ then coming to UFC. I guess that way dont make money as fast though.

Actually, Lesnar already has a few mma fights to his credit before appearing in the ufc, but I agree that he probably should have fought more before coming to the ufc. I believe some of his fights are on youtube, he demolished his earlier opponents.

TS got beat because he fought Noguiero.And what difference did the loss of a point make to Lesnar?Even if only a warning had been issued there would have been the stoppage.And when it restarted what happened happened.As far as the future of MMA it's already here.Fedor Emilianenko is its name.I still throw alittle leather from time to time,as an old man can!

I totally agree with you as far as the arrogance thing goes. My husband and I both love UFC but nothing makes me as mad as seeing people act the way they do before and after a fight. I know that they have to have the mind-set that they're going to win no matter who they fight because, if they don't, they'll get hurt. I understand that they're excited to fight and excited to win, having played sports all my life I get that, but whatever happened to humility and respect? Quintin Jackson and Matt Serra piss me off the most. Randy Coture is the perfect example of how a real fighter should act.
