Snow Checker, who got some?

Here in LaLa land we got about 2'' last night, weather Canada says this will be the coldest winter in 14 yrs, considering the source Im not rushing off to get a parka lol

It's a high of 83 here today. No snow. PS I thought "LaLa Land" was Hollywood CA? =o)

Nope! we started out as Lotus land and morphed it to lala land, then hollywood came and filmed here and stole our stuff

The weather man said that we in Charlotte "could" get some fluries on the 6th. BUT the weather people cant even get tommorows forecas right, so.......
Now the forecast has changed....Go Figure!

about 1/4 inch accumulated,,,,now its icecubes falling. while leaving the grocery store this morning a frowning woman was walking towards the store,,,,i say happily "its begining to feel like Christmas" her frown turned upsidedown and beemed,,"you are so right,,,and i was mad, thank you Sir" she said and took my basket and off to market she went. hopefully i spread some cheer~

Maybe an inch in the city of Chicago topped off my a nice layer of freezing rain. Made for a nice old fashioned ice storm. It wasnt too bad as i live near Lake Michigan and the lake is still warm enough to buffer the severity of this early winter snow. Away from the lake some expressways were shut down due to ice. Luckily it got warmer overnight and now it is just raining and the snow and ice is gone.

Last night spreading cheer was accomplished just by staying on the road
Or staying home. LOL
It looked nothing like christmas

i stayed on the road, worked all night and ran errands and spread cheer,,,,only thing i didnt do was vote for daley 5 times,,,LOL~

im waiting for a good blast of winter,,,,one where i actually have to break out a coat for,,,,so far this yr the most ive had on is a fleece 3-season coat. come on global warming prove us wrong~

Man you guys are lucky... going into our third week of sub zero temps. About 6-8 inches of accumulated snow now. And still coming down, mixed with a bit of ice pellets, ya know, just for fun...

edit: a balmy -13C outside, MUCH warmer than the past few days
