Re: ThanksGiving

Started the day making the stuffing.
Then moved on to make the vegan stuffing.
Gotta set the rolls out.
Then moved on to make the pumpkin pie and get it in the oven.
Waited around for the vegan to wake up, so got to stare at my tank for a while.
Then moved on to make the vegan pumpkin pie (and the crust too which I really hate).
The first pumpkin pies are out - yum!
Then we have the turkey to stuff.

The turkey is in the oven.
The vegan pie was a bit slow, so it has to cook along side the turkey (this is probably a bad thing, but the vegan isn't complaining).
Rolls are going to be done too soon, so they go into the fridge to slow them down.
Then we have the Tofurky to stuff around.
I gotta sell a few frags. Have to check the vegan pie @ 5 minutes too.
Frags are sold, vegan pie is finally done.
Turkey still cooking.
Time for a nice bath!
The best part is my husband now has the whole house clean!
Hope I don't forget to put the Tofurky in the oven!
Cool, more time for the tank!

I'm thankful that my family and our friend from Guam will all be here to eat and that we will have enough for leftovers! I do miss my mom's cooking though. My mom and dad are being well fed at my sister's place. Since we don't get much time as our own family any more, we chose to stay home.

Gobble, gobble, gobble. Hope everyone has a great day!

Snowing here in Central Tx! Not our normal Thanksgiving weather.
The last time it did this was the year my oldest son was born (14yrs ago).

I'm so thankful for it all!

They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.
