OT: My Trip back from LFS Hopping

Here are couple of pictures I took today on my way home from LFS hopping.

The Washinton Monument and part of the old Smithsonian Institute (right), from across the Potomac river.

The Lincoln Memorial.

The Jefferson Memorial.

A panoramic from across the Potomac.

The Potomac is the flight path for commercial airliners coming into Ronald Regan National Airport. Here is one coming in.
I think I see the pilot waving!
