OT: Does anyone know anything about Best Buy?

i have a project about best buy comming up in a week and a half and was just wondering if yall knew anyhting about Best Buys pricing strategy, atomspherics/image, promotional stategy/mix? Any help will be rewarded

Their customer service is horrible & I havent stepped foot in any Bestbuy in 7 years & dont plan to. Circuit City gets all my bussiness which is a lot. I have many issues with them but 1 biggie.

The Best Buy here in Charleston seems pretty good. As for strategy, The name alone was genus. Every time i go there the place is packed.
The one on Long Island NY where i lived before did pretty well also but had greater competition.
The lay out is attractive and they have a wide variety of products to choose from.
The one here has a Geek Squad section for those who need help with there pc troubles. I saw this as a nice addition.

The local Best Buy here is pretty good for that "type" of business. I have to say that their customer service has slipped over the last couple of years. When it first opened they were so EAGER and helpful now sometimes you have to all but BEG for service at times.
