From my vantage point I see alot of blue.
But clams are always looking up.

Hey! We're on the sandbed. Where else are we going to look?

Went to the beach again today, my daughter went with me. On the way there we saw something that was rather unnerving, a motorcycle accident had just happened and there were two people lying motionless on the road, the ambulance was coming up behind me. I pray they are going to be alright. When we saw it we both had a reaction, I immediately became nauseous and she had tears in her eyes. She had seen me in that position so it brought back some memories to her also. The beach was the perfect trip to wash that away. Ok Victor I have some funky looking skies this time.

Today they had a greeting card posted for us, wasn't that nice of them?

They even had a fanfare of flags to announce our arrival...

All the inhabitants gathered around and led us to the water inviting us to participate in their chicken and mouse games that they played with the splashing waves....

This was johnathan, he was quite the gull, very proud to show us around...

After a bit we went off on our own walking down the beach and keeping an eye on the threatening skies..

Look we were invited to stay for dinner, but we had to decline the offer...

OH and a token of their appreciation for our visit

I love the beach, my favorite place. Although now it brings up memories of a certain greyhound running along the water, wading in to his chest and going for walks with me and Mike.

Love the beach shots Cat. Reminds me of growing up in Florida! That's where I got my inspiration and love of everything saltwater.

You need to take a photo tour so we (by we I mean Lynn and anyone else who lives closer to you than me) find you. lol

Thank you for your concern Victor, but I did make it home safe and sound, however at one point I became rather frightened and was afraid that I had become lost and when I got home I read your post about taking pictures so you guys would know which way I travel should that ever happen again. Well tonight something very strange happened to me and I thought I would share with you...you know, just in case..........................

After I dropped my daughter off at chorus practice I was contemplating what I should do, go home, or perhaps go get some supplies for some projects. While trying to make this decision I saw a sign in the distance, like a beacon in the night it called to me, beckoning……

Suddenly it was like auto pilot had kicked in and my car turned toward the light. With tires squealing I skidded into the parking lot. I cruised through the parking lot looking for a good place to park, having a “classic” I must be careful. Finally I found a spot away from everyone and I parked slightly angled so no one else could park next to me and scratch my beautiful paint job.

Upon entering the store I was undecided about which place I wanted to go first, there are so many fun things in hardware stores! I love em! Well, guess what won out, naturally reef related…..looky here, doesn’t this stuff look familiar?

Next section, lumber…here are the timbers that the Santas and scare crows are made from, next you will see some candy canes and penguins made from these same timbers.

Oh look it is Santas tool area ……every wood crafter’s dream , a saw for everything….

After walking through this section I heard the faint sound of tapping. I walked closer to the shelves and underneath I saw the elves busily making the decorations and toys. Every so often a little elf running out to put something on the shelf.

By this time my knees were aching and I felt like I couldn’t walk
another step when I saw two small horses saddled and ready to go.

I jumped up on the black one and I rode to the back of the store, making my way in the direction of my car. We went through the garden section and stopped to look at the flowers.

The last stop was by the trees where I was greeted by another little elf who informed me that the horse had to return to his place so as not to alarm the employees. I looked at all the trees taking in deep breaths to smell the familiar scent of Christmas. The scent was not there so I returned to find my car and made my way home again.
