| Manta Ray | OT: surgery and flying colors Well, we are home now! Gails in bed resting and she's doing very well. I don't know if the xray tech read the xray backwards or what but they went in on the wrong side at first to get the ovary. I imagine that he was like, "Hmm, there's nothing here. Hey!, let's look on the other side... Oh, there it is!". It instills all sorts of confidence in the doctors around here. Anyway, everything came out all right so to speak and we even have really gross pictures for the refrigerator. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes, it means a LOT to both of us!

| Manta Ray | Re: OT: surgery and flying colors Yeah, I was just kidding about the fridge pics, way to yucky! She's a real trooper and was ready to go home as soon as she could stand. They wouldn't let her go til she peed though. Funny story.. The nurse and I got her up to walk around, and her hiney was shinin'. I told her "It's one of the most beautiful things in the world, but we don't want to make the other patients jealous", I got some serious Kudos from the nurse for that one. She may kill me if she reads this now!
