OT: surgery

Hi everybody,
My wife, Gail, is having surgery on Tuesday to have her last ovary removed. It's been causing problems for a while now with a large cyst that keeps growing and bursting, very painful! We go in at 6:15 Tuesday, so if my friends here could send some positive energy her way we would appreciate it. I know she's scared but she's not showing it much. She's the strongest person I know. I love her more than anything else in this world! Thanks everyone!

I will say a prayer for you both tonight. This will be a laparascopic procedure right? Low risk and quick recovery. I just looked at some of your past photos. It will be relaxing to recooperate at home and watch your pets swim around.

That is the plan. They're going in through the bellybutton but there's a lot of scar tissue from her hysterectomy so we'll see. Thank you SO MUCH for the prayers everyone!!

Absolutely. Tell her no worries, she'll be fine, it is a rather routine proceedure actually with a low risk of complications. (Lots of med people in my family.) But you are required to get her breaakfast in bed for a while!

My prayers are with you and her. I'm sure she is going to come out feeling 100% better than ever before. PCOS (Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome) runs in my wife's family. The ones that went through this before have all come out feeling better than they had ever felt before.
