I really wish there was a military wife's day. I know my wife has the really hard job. She's got to keep the house running; the dogs, cats, bird, horses, and fish fed; fix anything that breaks; handle the bills; and open the pickle jars by herself when I'm deployed!
I'm greatful the the veterans, and especially to the families that keep them going.

So where do all the veterans go
Some go home and then some dont
Some go to work ,and then some dont
Some might phone a friend, and yet some wont
Some might say thank you , and others say for what

For what you say ? lets study one day
although a day might last a day and a night
for you never know when its time to fight
one minute your sleeping and dreaming of home
and in the next its over. your on yer way home.

So you say thank you from me and you
you know its just the right thing to do
for without these boys who have tunred into men
that sorrowful day of 9-11 could happen again.

So what happen when these boys get home
they world has ended , and a new one began
those quiet nights of sitting on the porch
now haunted by sounds for these troops only
and they set on a march of being lonely

No one listens to whats not said
they now call home a box and bed
they sit in the night all watchfull and ****
and wonder when it'll be the end of it
You see it never ends even at home
they dont understand why your alone

So again i ask you this
where do all the vetrans go
have u gone out and said hello?
well todays the day , its one day a year
where they get to walk and dont have to fear
make them feel well at home!!!
