OT: Women of RS Thread

So who suggested this? I like the idea!

What shall we talk about first? Wanna start with the "girlie" stuff?

I got my hair cut TOO SHORT, holy cow. I like it short, makes it easy to get out the door, but geez. I'm workin' with it but there's not much to work with.

I'm going for the "artsy" cropped messy pixie thing. Yeah, yeah. that's it.

I think I suggested it but it was kind of a joke. I love the fact that you made it real.
Wonder if there is a way to hide it from the guys?
I think the messy pixie thing is a good idea. It looks cute and if nothing else will do until it grows out some.
I had a moment of instanity last time I had my hair done and had her cut bangs. She even questioned me 3 times (she's been my hairdresser for many years) but I insisted I wanted them. Now of course they are driving me crazy. I have to get her to cut them every two weeks and they still drive me nuts. Well more nuts than I already am. LOL

Hubby is going out tonight so I get a nice quiet evening with the house all by myself. Sheer joy. LOL I can watch what I want on TV or I can stay on RS all night. Whatever I want.

I just had my hair cut today not as short as yours though It's just below the shoulders it was way overdue she cut off 6"

LOL I am babysitting my mom's dog in PA right now and have had a quite lovely quiet time sans hubby and baby. They're on their way here as we speak, though, so it won't be quiet for long. I fed the critters, medicated the dog (he's elderly) and stayed on RS for WAY too long last night. (Foot in mouth disease is much easier to deal with in cyberspace...)

I'm growing mine out so I can donate it again. They only need 12 inches to donate. Then I'll have a nice short haircut for a time.

I don't know how you guys do long hair. I love it but it takes me too long to "do." I am incapable of taking a shower at night to have it dry in the AM, I need my wakeup shower, so the hair is wet. Short hair dries nice and fast!

My sister keeps it long, and it's very pretty. She's got the standard family color, mostly brown wiht a touch of red... I kinda help the red along a bit ; ) My brothers got that blazing orange hair with the skin that needs to be out of the sun.

I am always so jealous of girls that can have long hair, not spend too much time on it and it still looks good. My hair is thick but baby fine or so I've been told and when i let it get too long it starts parting and just looks like S^*T!
I perfer my hair short and it can be so easy to do just using your fingers to style but my husband wants it long. It's just below my ears right now and I'm planning on a trim soon!

I've been in Indiana now for 2 months by myself while my husband is finishing his house in Maryland and packing the rest of our things and I have to admit.......I'm kinda tired of the quite now and ready for a little noise.

Wonder how long that'll last! LOL

I got fairly lucky in the hair department. Both sides, mom and dad, have lots of hair. I like it short, but I have to get it cut often so it doesn't get to "helmet-y". It's poker straight. You should see my sister's ponytail, it's really thick.

Ahhhh.... I would really like to cut my hair short but the hubby likes long hair

I always shower first thing in the morning and can fix it different ways (depending on my mood); french braid it (super easy), blowdry it straight (time consuming) or let it air dry and have happy/curly hair all day

Lynn, I know what you mean about bangs. I used to have them years ago and keeping them trimmed and out of your eyes is a must! Although I think growing them out is worse... you can't do anything with them and they're in that awkward stage for months.

Gena, I liked your haircut. Want to trade for a month or so?? hehe
