Re: OT: Women of RS Thread

I could whine but I won't! I'm good, and sitting here enjoying a nice cup of fresh ground, french pressed Guatemalan coffee that is REALLY good! A nice crumpet with a bit of honey and butter, some spec, a piece of Havarti and some red raspberries round out the nice cup of coffee. I like eclectic breakfasts.

I also have a nice little Cavalier King Charles on my lap (Bentley)

and he is a wonderful addition to a tasty breakfast!

Today I'm off to work for a few hours, then back home to a quiet house this evening as John has his monthly Italian American Club meeting. One of my favorite nights of the month!

Since the plumber never showed last Friday to install my RO/DI unit I may mess with that tonight. I built LIGHTS. Maybe I can do this!

Re: OT: Women of RS Thread

wow what a busy week. working, funeral, tantrums (and not just from children), drama, visitors, illnesses, birthdays...

on the plus side, Mike said yes to a dog if we stay in this house. If we move we have to see what happens.

Thanks! He's wonderful.. the breed was developed to be "comforter Spaniels" and were used as lap warmers at home and during travel... so they really love to cuddle up. He weighs about 16lbs so he fits on a lap perfectly! I have two of them... here's the other one, Clancy~my wild-haired red boy!

OMG, why do you have NINE kids? Do you do daycare? Or are they all yours?

Re: OT: Women of RS Thread

Not one of them is mine. Age range is from 12 months to 4 years. Thank goodness they all leave at 5:00.
It is fun though makes the time go by quickly when they are busy. See all the little eyes on my avatar?? This is what I see most of the day, Little eyes looking at me. I call them our future reefers, they see everything that happens in the tank. Want to entertain them for about an hour? Move one of the rocks lol

Re: OT: Women of RS Thread

They are not ours. Your own always pushes your buttons. Big difference when they are not your own. Love that mine goes to school now, I missed him alot at first but now it is much calmer. Thank goodness I only had one I dont think I could have done preschool all day with more than one of my own.
