| Manta Ray | Re: OT: Women of RS Thread Ugh. I was like that yesterday. Spent the day trying to keep the water down, though. I was so thirsty. I got both kids down at the same time and took a 2 hour snooze. I look forward to an early bedtime. On a good note, I had a piece of toast for lunch...my stomach growled. Awesome!!! Eatting is still tough though. I have that dizziness crap that is still throwing off my stomach. |

| Manta Ray | Re: OT: Women of RS Thread I can walk today, but I cannot be on my feet for too long. Body is hurting from being in bed for 2 days. Going to be a chaotic weekend. I have family coming on Monday and then I am out the door for a couple of days in Tucson. I have to get this place spotless before then. |

| Manta Ray | Re: OT: Women of RS Thread Yeah, I got the boys picking up after themselves, but the husband is a fight I don't feel like having. It's like talking to a wall. I did the dishes...working on the laundry. My husband came home excited last night because he has to be at the waterpark on Friday (military appreciation gig). Wants me to go....yeahhh...forget the cleaning. I still feel like crap and something about being out in the heat seems even less attractive. |

The kids make a good portion of the mess. I just cleaned every bathroom before I was sick, but the 4 yr old has already made a serious mess of his that I will need to address. 2 monsters trashing the place does not help whatsoever. I need to think about packing, as well.

I am glad you are able to keep down fluids. You are the nurse, Deb. We got any new viruses out there or is it just a fear of vegetation? I am staying away from restaurants and their fresh vegetables. I hurt too much to chance it.

| Golden Moray | Re: OT: Women of RS Thread Poor Becky! I hope you feel better. I'm seriously scared of what would happen to this house if I ever got sick. For example, last night, we ordered pizza. I cleaned up the kitchen before it got here and the diswasher was empty. When Tommy was finished with his plate, he put it beside the sink. I know it doesn't seem like a big deal, but he didn't put it IN the sink or IN the EMPTY dishwaser. He didn't even wash off the ranch dressing that was all over it. Oh, and when I ask him to pick something up, he just moves it to a different location instead of putting it in the laundry, throwing it away, etc...he has his little "keeper piles" all over the house. It's the little things like that are really starting to P!$$ me off.

| Serpent Star | Re: OT: Women of RS Thread Deb and Becky glad you are feeling a little better. I could use a couple days in bed but without the sickness. My husband is a neat freak. He does laundry, dishes every night and even cleans the shower. I must be the luckiest girl around.

| Madame Klanganator | Re: OT: Women of RS Thread I think it's real scary that our vegetables are so suspect now. Have any of you read an old sci fi book called The Sheep Look Up? It's about the gradual downgrading of life and health in America.. how people come to accept things that happen gradually over time. It's a book that's kind of haunting me because when I look around I think it may actually be happening like that. I read in the news yesterday that American life expectancy is falling. Not good. Not good at all! Popsicles are a good way to stay hydrated; lots of sugar but they stay settled pretty well. Becky, since it's "family" that's visiting I'd just tell them you couldn't get the cleaning done as you were sick. "Family" is supposed to understand that sort of thing, right? Packing for a trip sounds way better anyway.
