Wow...sticking my nose into the "woman's world" is dangerous, and I know that, but I agree with Becky...tell Tommy what transpired, then tell her to get her mangy a$$ out of your house. Just remember, you can pick your friends, you can't pick your family...and you DO NOT have to tolerate abuse from either.

Of coure he does. We were engaged and I had just broken it off because, ironically, his family was having a difficult time accepting me and my past. When she found out, she called me & cursed me out because I had hurt Tommy so badly. Tommy's dad did the same thing but he did it after we got back together. Everyone else has come around but neither one of them has ever apologized. I don't really like her or her husband. They're both from New Orleans so they have that "I just wanna get drunk and be the center of everyone's universe" kind of attitude. I don't have the patience to put up with that this weekend. I wonder if I could mysteriously disappear for the entirety of their stay?

You are more than welcome in Hick Hell here in beautiful New (communist) Jersey. Where in Al are you?

I would not hesitate to bow out of the house for the duration. Get me a nice hotel room and Olivia could play in teh hotel pool if they had one.
