The library picks the theme. Last year it was Claws and Paws. This year it is Catch a Dragon by the Tale. So I have to stick with kings, queens, princes, princesses, dragons and so forth.

My 4 yr old has a ton of books. My mother used to be a preschool teacher so she had her collection (she has been giving me titles on this matter), which I got most of, then she had teacher discounts for scholastic fairs and a percentage off of Barnes & Noble....is this a good time to mention I was a librarian? Never a children's librarian, but between all of the history books and the kids' books, this place is a fire hazard.

soon as I was about 6, all my books were dinosaurs and local species ID books. reptiles, anphibians, fish, insect, arachnids etc.

i was a dirty hill kid who loved creepy crawlies
