| Social Darwinism victim | Re: OT: Women of RS Thread The recital is DONE!!! Oh dear god what a day. My mother and mike's father cannot be together. Why is a story for another day. Mom and the in-laws wanted to go to Erin's recital. So we had to coordinate having keeping said individuals apart. Fun stuff. THEN I'm at the hairdressers until 12:30. The recital started at 1. Erin wasn't even in her tutu yet. Needless to say I broke a few laws gettign her home. Thanks god Mike had the presence of mind to have her custume ready in the car. He broke some more laws and almost made my mother pee herself getting there. We got there and 1:02 and I ran in with Erin half in her stockings. A backstage mom was outside waiting for us, the in-laws were already there and we had been on the phone for them to find her dance teacher and warn her. She was ready and Erin got changed in a hallway... we almost didn't make it. The recital was great!! We got a dvd of it, have to find out where to pick it up. After we were all tired and hungry (ate breakfast at like 9 and didn't get "lunch" until 4 after all that craziness). I"m now indulging in some blueberry happiness.

| Manta Ray | Re: OT: Women of RS Thread Last night I was outside stripping furniture (yes furniture) and some doofball neighbor starts walking over with her dog. Great. Somebody found me. She comes over doesn't introduce herself, just yaps of things of no real consequences. Dog takes a leak against the garage and she says she is off so that her dog could crap in someone's yard....yeeeeeeaaaah. Looks like I have another one. I was out working on my project again tonight and she was standing out in her front yard keeping an eye on me. Gave me the creeps. I got indoors before she even thought about coming over. On another note, went for a walk tonight and was chased by a cockroach. |

| Manta Ray | Re: OT: Women of RS Thread I am not getting my crap done fast enough at night. I just have this fear...and it is a healthy one given the weirdos that live around here...that someone sooner or later will knock on my door because they are bored. It is hard to pretend that you are not home with 2 little kids. I'm trying to train the 4 yr old to be really silent, stay far away from the windows, sneak into the laundryroom and close the door until it all blows over. It's tough. |

| Social Darwinism victim | Re: OT: Women of RS Thread yeah I hate that too. There's only one bunch next door that I really like and a. they're trying to move (but they can't sell their house, it's been up for a year and b. they would never just "pop by." Guess that why I like them.

| Golden Moray | Re: OT: Women of RS Thread I avoid all our neighbors except our next door neighbor whose dog poops in our yard. We borrow bootlegged copies of movies from him. He's like a teenager stuck in an old man's body...he's a little rebel. He's about 65+ and drives a coupe with his classic rock booming out of his speakers and illegally burns movies and music. It makes me giggle sometimes.
