ladies your kids seem awesome....Nikki Olivia is as cute as a button. I loved the rasberries.

Becky...your kids will grow out of things eventually...we all do at some point.

Kathy glad your feeling better when and if I go to the doctor I get zpac...seems to help me...and don't worry about drug addicts...I"m the king of pills..although I don't think I've ever had a perc. But I do Vics for my headaches. Also don't worry about the soaps...my mom still watches them and sometimes even I get sucked in...good zoning out tv.

Bob...feeling 10 feet talll the last couple of days eh.

I don't know, Mooch. My brothers are 43 and 41 and they didn't quit fist fighting until I graduated from college...which is why they weren't invited to my wedding ceremony. I can understand the 4 yr old...but the 17 month old has got to be the most physical out of the 2. Seems early for this kind of crap.

When Andrea was 10 or 11 she became obsessed with MTV. After awhile of that and seeing some of the stuff she was seeing I had it blocked by our cable company. WOWZER was she mad at me!! But I hadda do it... totally inappropriate stuff.

If I had to do the whole kid thing over again I think I might've gotten rid of the tv, especially if I were doing it now. There is really hardly anything but garbage on. Of course, I'm a huge anti-tv person, just in case you didn't know.

No, it's not early, Becky... the younger one will just do things earlier than the first. They learn from the older and they also have the frustrations of dealing with someone else in their face.. something the older one didn't have to do. Plus, some kids are just more physical.

Bryan was a lot more physical than Chris... used to bite Chris every chance he had beginning at about 6 mos old! Had to keep them separated.. poor Chris had big chomp marks on him when I let Bryan get too close.

Bob...giving me probs *looks around in udder stupidity* thanks bob...I'm sure you would have made one hell of a Marine....but even at that my hat goes out to Boomer...now he's the toughest of the toughest...he was in the 'Nam came out alive and then when they all came home were called baby killers. Have to be tough as nails for that kinda crap.

Barb, you are right about the TV. There are new limits...plenty of cussing...hard to be a parent. It's not like they are showing shows like Family Ties anymore! Well, not on FOX anyway.

I watch a lot of news...that is bad enough as it is. But if my husband ever gets deployed again, that'll be the end of that unless the kids are sleeping or out of the house. The oldest already knows his dad is a soldier, it would just not work out.

Nah, just the doctor visit to get the authorization started. That could take a week or so, or it could take months...He also referred me back to my knee surgeon for re-evaluation. I hurt it again back in November, and it's been giving me hell ever since. The doc's office won't see me without insurance authorization...and they've ignored our requests. The pain doc thinks that the screwed up knee is a big part of my back problems...it's altered my gait and that's throwing the back out of whack. (on top of the herniated disks and bad SI joint.)
