| Golden Moray | Re: OT: Women of RS Thread I know how to make the boys go away...I had my first period since I got pregnant...I hate being a girl. Other than labor, that was the most painful thing I've ever experienced.

| Madame Klanganator | Re: OT: Women of RS Thread Well, that's no fun at all. I had a hysterectomy when I was 37, which has been quite some time ago. I can STILL recall exactly what that feels like. It's an indelible memory, unfortunately!

| Madame Klanganator | Re: OT: Women of RS Thread What I meant to say was that having a bad period is an indelible memory. Sometimes it's bad to re-read what you've written previously. The hysterectomy was a dream come true. I've heard that tubal ligation can cause terrible cramps.

| Madame Klanganator | Re: OT: Women of RS Thread Boy I don't miss any of that at ALL. Thanks for the reminder to be glad that I'm 51. Last night I had a vivid dream that my daughter was pregnant (she's 22). It woke me up and I couldn't sleep the rest of the night. Not ready to be a gramma yet.

| Golden Moray | Re: OT: Women of RS Thread lol. I had a dream a couple of weeks ago that I was in the bathtub, looked down and something inside my stomach started moving. It looked like when I was pregnant with Olivia. My stomach got bigger than normal...we didn't find out until she was delivered that I was originally pregnant with twins. One didn't make it ad dissolved but the amniotic sac never dissolved, it got the size of a cantelope...anyway, a few days later, my best friend said that she had a dream that I liked having babies so much that I had 6 in a year. Her timing was a little off, but I still took a pregnancy test anyway. No baby on the way jsyk.

| Golden Moray | Re: OT: Women of RS Thread I was supposed to go to a bridal shower yesterday. Tommy, of course, wouldn't take the baby and I was stuck with her all day. Of course, I wasn't able to get a present before the shower so I had to lug Olivia into BB&B to get a gift card. When we got to the shower, there were a LOT of people and Olivia just cried...so we had to leave after 5 minutes, she doesn't like being around a lot of people. I haven't gotten to do anything by myself since before the baby was born so I was PISSED. So...I came home, sat the car seat with a screaming baby on Tommy's lap and said "I'm leaving. I'll be back much later." He said "What am I supposed to do with her?" I said "She's already eaten so I don't care." And I left. It felt so good. He was stressed and irratable when I got home, but I didn't care. For 2 glorious hours, I didn't have anyone touching me, hanging on me, snuggling on me, telling me what to do and, best of all, I didn't hear a baby crying...it was really glorious.

| Madame Klanganator | Re: OT: Women of RS Thread Excellent! And now you know how good it feels.... so make it a priority to have some nikkipigtails-time each and every week. Tommy isn't allowed any longer to "wouldn't take the baby". Right?
