Re: OT: Women of RS Thread

hey man boobs are a serious issue...like becky said if you start tucking (or in some cases need a sports bra) your in trouble.

As far as peeing outside sometimes it's a necessaity.....when we all lived in my house back home my sister used to take hours in the bathroom..and me having too much coffee in the moring had to just go outside..my parents hated it but I still did it...even in the dead of winter.

As far as what your talking about and the catholic schools...my dad went and hated it..I went to public schools and hated it..I think it all depends on how the town/people are..if your poor and your stuck in a fancy pants school kids WILL pick on you and your life will suck, and believe me you'll be bitter for along time.

Re: OT: Women of RS Thread

Yeah, I don't get what the deal is with peeing outside. Tommy works with his brother and they came home to weld some stuff for work around lunch. So I figured I would make them lunch. I walk outside to tell them that lunch is ready and BOTH of them are peeing by the side of the house! If our 90 year old neighbor were to look out her window, she would have had a heart attack!

Schools...they SUCK in our area. The sad part is that the private ones aren't any better. We're looking into moving to Tuscaloosa in the next year or two partly for that reason.

Boobs...ah, boobs. Let's have the guys wear a DD bra, stuff it with sandbags and wear it around for a while so they can be grateful for their minor man boobage. I was a 34-A before I got pregnant, now I'm a 34-DD. Even though I can fit into my pre-pregnancy tops, they look obscene! Talk about insecurity issues!

Re: OT: Women of RS Thread

I know how you feel Nikki. By the time I was 17 I was wearing C bras when I should have been in Ds. Post pregnancy, when I was breast feeding, (pumping all the time, she was a preemie) I have no idea what size I was just couldn't stand up straight (keep in mind I'm barely 5'1). I got mastitis a few times before I gave up. I had a reduction a little more than a year ago and WOW what a difference!! I don't have back pain anymore and can wear tops I never could before!! Oh and I can occasionally go braless!! I used to be strapped into straight jacket kind of bras and was hoping my boobs wouldn't reach my belly button before age 40.

Re: OT: Women of RS Thread

I considered breast reduction when I was a C. One of my guy friends said that he wouldn't be able to recognize me if I had breast reduction. Now I am D. No back pain (I am 5'7) and clothes are a pain in the butt. I've considered it, but I am often the only one watching the kids, right now I do not have time to rest.

When I was pregnant the first time, I was shopping in Motherhood Maternity and one woman was having a meltdown by the bras. She was going off about how "they" tell you that your breasts will return to normal size. She said she was up to size F now and didn't know what size came next.

Re: OT: Women of RS Thread

lol..I'm only 5'2" with DD's. They don't make maternity bras in my size. In fact, they don't make DD, it's actually F which is considered "Plus size" and 34" is not. I have to order bras online at Victorias' Secret.

Re: OT: Women of RS Thread

I used to be like Kate Hudson in the boob-department. Tommy is definately happier about it than I am. He kinda shows me off more, like he's showing off some new discovery. It's funny. But no back pain which is nice and I haven't had mastitis. When they hurt, I nurse.

By the way, I just put Olivia in 6 month clothes, not realizing they were 6 month clothes, and they fit (she's only 3 months)! I measured her and she's 25 inchess long. She grew an inch in less than a week! Talk about a growth spurt.

Do I have the bra for you!

Try one of these! They are ugly as sin but they are actually comfortable

Bra-llelujah! by Spanx

The cups stretch quite a bit, and the straps do not cut into your shoulders.

I bet you guys with boobs will be happy with them, too, because they really don't show under your tee shirts.

Re: OT: Women of RS Thread

Thanks Barbmazz, I am going to order one. Went from a 36C to a 36DD after having my son. So uncomfortable, and thinking about having a reduction. When I work out is when they cause the most pain.

Re: OT: Women of RS Thread

I'm training for a 5K to help me lose the weight and I have to wear a maternity sports bra and a tight workout top with a built in bra to smash my boobs down because they hurt so bad when I run!

You're welcome... these are very comfortable. Nikki, I'd try ordering a size up... a 36.. and see how it is. You can always return it. It might help just while you're nursing.

Just don't dry them in the dryer, and they last a good long time. I've got two and I've had them almost two years now. Almost ready to order new ones, but they really are good.

Re: OT: Women of RS Thread

I hate that, I can lose weight like crazy...or once upon a time I could...but the boobs stay the same. I guess I should feel quite fortunate after reading about all of these back problems! I'm going to have to check that bra out, Barb. It was the airport security line that just about sold it for me.

Re: OT: Women of RS Thread

I tried a 36 in the store and when I moved a cretain way, it would gape. I really hope they go down. The women in my family were all built like me, then came kids and boobs...who knows, maybe I'll be the anomoly (sp?)
