Re: OT: Close Encounter with a Shark Yesterday

I always make my husband nervous when we go diving and I end up with a bloody nose. I won't tell him this story!

I always get a bloody nose too! He doesn't want me to dive and gets upset because I come up with a mask full of blood. Sometimes, just so he doesn't worry, I empty it before I exit the water and he doesn't see it.

Hope you are healing well and enjoying the day off.
Yes, let's start a club! ha ha ha. Hopefully by tomorrow I'll be able to put on my high heels for work.

I will tell you this having dealt with Sharks for as long as I have a shark 36" or better just moving them from one tank to another where I am "in control of there enviroment is not an easy task. As 3' shark is fast enough & has enough teeth specially a reef shark to tear flesh fast than we can think to react by the time the you realize the attack is happening it is over & you are seriously injured. Just be careful is all I am saying scub boots would have help alot in this case. By the way blacktips are know to be ankle biters
Yeah, I don't want to find out just how much a small shark can hurt me.

Scuba boots would have been PERFECT in this case. When we went out, I wasn't expecting my barnacle walking so I just brought sunscreen and a towel. Next time, I'll pop those on the boat just in case I decide to go exploring again!

People come into our lives for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person. When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.
