Re: OT: Tattoo thread

Nikki I like that Dove tat! I'm thinking of something on my back similar but not a dove. I'm thinking of a sea turtle.

Re: OT: Tattoo thread

It was a lot of fun. I was originally hired just to do custom artwork for tattoos. The shop was owned by a husband and his wife and neither could draw so they had to have someone come up with custom stuff for them that they could make a template out of. Then he started teaching me stuff so I would clean/set up his stuff, get the ink, shave people (ha ha) make and put on the templates and pierce people. My actual tattoo experience came from coloring in his sleeve. He did the outline himself and I just filled it in. Unfortunately, we had some creative differences. Plus I had just found out that I was pregnant so, instead of dealing with the late hours and stress over our "creative differences" I left. It was definately interesting though. You meet a lot of "different" people...some good, some not so good.

Re: OT: Tattoo thread

I can't decide if right shoulder blade or center of the back/lower neck area. Because of my job I have to make sure it's covered at all times unless I DECIDE to show it off. My collared shirt/suit makes it pretty easy at some events I have on t-shirts so it needs to be hidden by that too.

I saw something a while back that was "interesting".. it was similar in "style" to your dove but it was a Sea Turtle. One other thing that I love is a "Tree Frog" with the big eyes and fingers and all... that's a shoulder blade tat for sure... but I am still a long way off.. just window shopping.. IF you have something like that I would love to see it but please don't go to a lot of trouble/efforts over it.

Did you say piercings? SWEET! I want some of those too but Julie has threatened to dis-own me if I get THOSE done

Is there any other image you like that you want me to play with so you have a few different things to look at?
