Re: OT: Tattoo thread

OK... I tried my best to edit this. Here is my fat butt. I'm proud of the tattoo, not the jiggle. But it's earned from childbearing, so I shall hug my kid and avoid donuts.

Mods... please let me know if this is a little too much. Wanted to try and get it on here.

Looks great Kathy. I love the colors and texture of it all.

Can't tell what part of your body it is on, so I wouldn't worry.

Re: OT: Tattoo thread

Oh good. Thanks guys, I had to do some erasing to keep it PG. : )

And no, Steve, what's with the 3 toes? I kept my specifics to a minimum and let the tattoo artist go with it, even the purple (I like it, keeps it "girlie"). The sun/bird in the middle was there already, got that done about 10 years ago.

Re: OT: Tattoo thread

The Chinese Emperors Dragon has 5 toes, death to anyone without permission, 4 toed is the common china dragon. Trade with Japan led to vases with dragons and the Japanese decreed 3 toes were tops. The Koreans big boss had a dragon with 7 toes to show they were superior, but it was kept hidden so as not to arouse the Chinese. The Chinese say the farther a dragon wanders from home the less toes it has, the Japanese say the farther the dragon wanders the more toes it needs. today a 5 toed dragon is to be carefull of in a tattoo, superstition states if the bearer is not very strong the dragon will destroy the bearer

Re: OT: Tattoo thread

Interesting, thanks for the info! The tat artist, a young lady named Carla Hopkins, was excited to do a larger dragon, Oriental dragons and subjects were her "thing." She had a book of stuff she'd done with a lot of Chinese and Japanese type art. I am actually thinking about getting a phoenix above it with a lotus and cherry blossoms to round out the seasons. Has to wait though, I already spent some bucks on the dragon!

Allen's home-made formula...(-NO3=WC%)
This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%.

Designed by Debbie Inksmith in St. Augustine, FL. It's really my upper arm, but after I cropped the pic, I realized it looks kinda like a saggy hip or something.
