Yeah, it's a painting. It's even more magnificent in person. Her name's Lucy McTier.

Re: OT: Tattoo thread

I found her website. She did Reagan huh? I've read how hard it is to do portraits. That beach and aquatic life stuff is incredible.

Mike was actually an art major for a semester or two way back when in college. Got told he was not the right "demographic" to actually succeed in the field. His step-grandfather was into watercolors, he's got some hanging someplace, I'll have to ask him again. I'm totally impressed with anybody who has artistic talent. I can barely draw a straight line.

Re: OT: Tattoo thread

I was a double major in college. A biomedical sciences major and a fine art major so I could either go to medical school or do medical illustrating for a career and custom work on the side...needlesstosay, Olivia came before I could graduate and it's much more prudent for me to stay home with her since I hadn't started a career yet.

Re: OT: Tattoo thread

I was a double major also, biology and chemistry towards medical school.
Unfortunately I was too busy chasing skirts to get the grades and after 8 yrs of college ended up with a Masters in finance

At least you ended up with a degree in something. I had to leave as a junior. I would have started my senior year the next semester. So close...

Can anyone help?

I think I've found a font that I like. I'll see if I can throw it in a .jpg and post it.

No takers on helping?
I haven't drawn anything in years... so mine would look like crap.

It doesn't matter... as long as it looks good.
Maybe a new tatt will get me out of this freakin' slump I'm in.

I want to show y'all a picture of my tat, but it's on my back and I can't quite reach it! Oh well. It's a Marine Corps Eagle, Globe and Anchor....yes I'm a Jar Head. And no, you can't call me that...unless you're a former Jar Head too!!!
