| Social Darwinism victim | Re: OT: Pictures of my Adventure in the Arctic So do you find Buddy is the one in charge, pushier than Pinky? I have come across a couple pairs in the past and that was always the case. They and the Rose Breasted Cockatoos (want one of those too!!) used to quietly invade the kitchen of the pet store I worked at and proceed to (again, quietly, and efficiently) wreak havoc. And have a ball in the process. Is your gray a girl? Guessing by the size of the head, although the angle of the pic might be throwing my guess. Sorry to get off topic but you can't get me started about the birds, I'll never stop!!

| Sea Pen | Re: OT: Pictures of my Adventure in the Arctic Hi Kathy, It is fine with me because I love birds too.Pinky came to me as a rescue bird. The owner could not take care of him as she did not have the time so Pinky was plucking his feathers. When he came to me , he was without feathers and he looked terrible. Now he is a lovely bird. Buddie came from a breeder when she was a baby and she used to hate me and love Steve ( Sasquatch) She used to bite me but I persevered with her and now she is a wonderful bird. A bit Bossy but that's okay. Chico is also from a breeder and he is the most talkative of the 3.I am not sure whether Chico is male or female. Have to get Chico's DNA to find out. Now the 3 birds are very attached to me but Steve has a very hard time with them. They consider him their enemy or rival, not too sure which. Oops I better stop here. I can go on and on . Have a goodnight Kathy. |
