OT: stupid firefox question

Every time I hit the apostrophe or forward slash key when typing responses in firefox the quick find box pops up (the one you normally hit Ctrl F to bring up to find a word or phrase on the page). How the heck do I make this go away? It is quite annoying not being able to use an apostrophe when typing.

It seems to have repaired itself with a reboot. I scanned my system really quick for viruses, worms and ich just in case

I was just gonna leave it outside, this heat is enough to kill anything.
How's it up in the triangle? My thermometer says 104....
