OT: out of pocket...

I wanted to let everyone know why I've been absent. A week ago last thursday my mother fell during a horrible storm we had and broke her hip. We'd been without power for over 3 hours at that time. She went to step down into our den and just fell. Replacement surgery was done last saturday and shes done extremely good from that but had a major irritation from the endotrachael tube. To the point of choking her.

Anyway, I hope to be back on with everyone asap. Say a prayer...

People come into our lives for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person. When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Re: out of pocket...

Thank you to each and everyone, ya'll made me cry this morning but they are tears of feeling like someone is out there. I have thought that maybe this was something telling me to get out of the hobby. I haven't had the joy from my tank since this happened.

Thanks to everyone of you again, it's this hobby that shows what kind of people are in it...those that care for each other.

Re: out of pocket...

Sue! having a reef tank is reaching beyond normalcy, we do things that require more than a person should have to, it can be a strain, dont worry, when things calm down with your Mom your joy factor will return. Take care. Steve

Re: OT: out of pocket...

Thanks Steve..I do know that almost ignoring the tank besides my feeding the fish and making sure water levels are fine has made the corals grow a lot more. Maybe this was another way for me to see how good the tank is doing if I keep my hands outta there..

Thanks again for the kind words.
