OT: Got the baby gray this weekend

Got a handful, but they are great. The goffin is about the sweetest and the gray has already taken to me and wanting to learn sounds and words. Listens so intently. What have I gotten myself into? lol

I have a Goffins too. Coco, and she is the most time consuming pet I have. Karma to you for trying two. I love the crap out of her but when she gets into a screaming thing................... Like she's doing right now!

Oh nothing like a baby gray, those black eyes, that too sharp beak, lol Teresa's gray hates me, always has. Good luck and try to keep the cursing to a minimum

Beautiful birds everyone. And since we are posting pics, I might as well throw my husband's Macaw in here. It is definitely his bird even though I do all the feeding. Well he is the one that wanted a macaw so I guess it works.

Re: OT: Got the baby gray this weekend

Great birds! Rather you guys than me though! I love them and was a breeder for a very long time and after doing that for many years and not having a life it gets old. 15 breeders at one time makes you feel like you are married to birds. ALOT of upkeep, DAILY! My baby was the timneh gray though, now that was / is a really neat bird!

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.
