thank you all for your well wishes.
lil Bobby woke us up screaming in pain and vomiting with a fever of 103.5 so we rushed him to the hospital. What was most distressing was that the Drs. couldn't figure out what he had...but with a white blood count of 31000 they suspected apendicitis. After 6 x-rays and two sonograms were inconclusive, they finally had to give him a CTscan (which came up negative). We were so worried but by the morning when he developed a rash around his groin and his strep culture showed possitive he was finally diagnosed with scarlet fever.
After administering the proper antibiotics he began to feel better and by morning wanted to run up and down the hall ''driving'' his IV. pole

On a side note: You know you're an addict when you see a computer room with internet access and think ''oh cool I can log into RS'' only briefly 'cause I was afraid that someone would scold me ''the computers are for patient use only''...typing in quickly and looking over my shoulder....you would think I was looking at porn or something illegal

And p.s. the only connection I can find between reefing and porn is that they both have addicts.

I had scarlet fever when I was about 8...sucked BIG TIME! Hope he pulls through ok...remember, a few shots of crown royal can cure almost anything!!

When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person. When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
