I can only speak for myself, but it is not about beating somebody up. I am a life long martial artist and fighter, to me fighting is the highest form of art. I enjoy it on the same level as another might enjoy a ballet or a nice play.

Unfortunately I'm not like Reefjitsu, I just like watching people beat each other up in a fairly controlled setting. I can't say I've ever really enjoyed the ballet or most plays

I think I like the competition side more than anything having been pretty involved in sports all the way through high school.

it requires a skill..... its not fighting...

speed, power, stammna,

the abilty to defend yourself in one second, and next attack....

equality matched in weight, the only advantage would be who can defend them selfs faster and fight back when available,

fightings what they do on spike tv..... kick box'n no gloves.... i dont like that.

i like the old school boxing style gloves above the belt only

I was dissapointed. I thought De La Hoya was more active and controlled the fight, that Mayweather was responding. It was a good 12 bouts, but thought the decison should have gone the other way.

Mayweather almost knocked him down twice!

well....maybe....but that is definately NOT Mayweathers style. I think respect for De La Hoyas power and the fact that De La Hoya stepped up his speed played a roll in Mayweathers reactions.

Because watching two athletes compete in a challenging sport is like, entertaining.

boxing blows though, im all about MMA. my boy figts in ring of fire locally, and for strikeforce on a national level. bobs a big fan.
