OT: You never know what life will bring.

Be sure that those you love know it every day.
My father's best friend went out for a walk the other day before driving to their second home in NC. Fifteen minutes later the police were knocking on the door to tell his wife that he had dropped dead instantly. He had no apparent health problems and was only 71 years old.
Seeing his wife the last two days at the services has made me realize how important it is to live every day as if it were your last. It just may be.
Sorry if I sound depressing, but be sure to appreciate those around you so you have no regrets if something happens suddenly like this.
He will be very missed by many people.

It is amazing how something as tragic as this can put things in perspective... Thanks Lynn for reminding us of how important the people in our lives can be!

So true Lynn, It is amazing how much death makes us appreciate life. At least for the moment....hopefully we make those moments last.

Nice sentiments there Lynn, a lot of us are approaching the age when friends, parents etc are leaving us, very difficult to deal with, and your right live like you might not be here tomorrow, peace to you and yours .Steve

Your right, you just never know,, My friend lost her 11 year old son a year ago and I dont take anything for granted anymore... You just never know.
