| Torch coral | OT: Hi All - hope to back on full time soon Hi, everyone! It has been a full 5 months for me. I made the decision to go back to school this past fall and actually took 2 classes this semester. It has been rough going to school at night and working full time. When I wasn't studying, my time on the computer was spent trying to find and apply for grants, scholarships, and aid, going over budget and cutting out some non essential spending. I now am going to start school full time this summer and will not be working (thanks to hubby!). I plan on my last work day being May 16th (our pay week is Thur - Wed) and summer semester starts May 29th. I will be taking 15 semester hours this summer and 18 in the fall. Since I won't be trying to maintain 45-50 hours at work and go to school at the same time, I hope to be back in RS pretty much each day. I hope that all is well with all of you and would enjoy hearing what you have been up to for the past couple of months. If you want to catch me up, please post here in this thread. It will be easier for me to catch up!!! I know that Woody has been busy with her 120 - I just went thru her thread and gallery. I would love to hear & see what I have missed. I have really missed being on line with you guys! Lin

| Reef Shark ![]() | Re: Hi All - hope to back on full time soon School's a beyatch...especially when you've been out for a while. I started back this semester, after being out since 1970...I'm REALLY glad I'm not trying to juggle school and work too...I get my butt kicked by it on a daily basis, but surprisingly, I'm doing a good job kicking back. (currently have about a 3.75 GPA) Not sure how your semester hours are figured as compared to our units, (I know different schools/school systems figure them differently) but 15-18 is a HUGE load if they are figured the same...I carried 11.5 this semester, will have 9 over the summer, and about 13-14 in the fall... Best of luck to ya in this endeavor, and don't let the "kids" get to ya...I'd say you're far more motivated than they are, and ya never know, you're probably lots smarter too!

| Torch coral | Re: OT: Hi All - hope to back on full time soon I am going for a dual degree in MIS and accounting. We made the decision for me to go back full time so that I can hopefully get some internships in the future. I know that Microsoft and NASA (no rocket scientist jokes - LOL) both offer internships at the university. I know that I can hope and dream! BoomerD - what are you majoring in? Thanks for all the support! Lin
