OT: Gardening

LOL a toast to the men and women who invented asphalt and pavers, oh to cover it all in a smooth case of concrete,thats my idea of gardening, some nice gravel a rake and some zen music, roundup the weeds and be done. Down with dirt and sharp prickly things, down down I say, I want to move the house to a mall parking lot, pinstripe my rider mower and polish the chrome BLECCCC to the garden YUCK, bugs, worms, bees and weeds

yup...he must of gotten stung by a spring bee or something...carefull 'squatchy, and watch out for that poision sumac,oak,ivy....then you'd REALLY have a reason to b***h.....LOL

Actually Teresa got stung in the eye yesterday, I got the stinger out and everything was good but this morning lol looks like she went 3 rounds with the champ, benedril and ice packs for her, really gonna have to keep her in the house today

Sorry about the bee sting. Be sure to keep Teresa inside, don't want to give the neighbors the wrong idea about you!
I was building a raised bed this weekend, and discovered some playful little fireants right where I was trying to square up a corner.

What you can't see in the pic is all the little bites I'm getting on my left leg!

But in a couple months, lots of fresh home grown veggies!

The longer I stay in The South, the more likely I am to agree with you. For now, I still love the great outdoors. Although, I am looking forward to getting back to the West coast where the great outdoors won't eat me!
