OT: LFS on Good Morning America

For those of you that don't know, I work at one of the premier pet shops in the Kentuckiana area. Sandy's Pet Shop. Okay enough modesty it's the best pet shop for hundereds of miles. I'm not say that because I work there, it really is. We've set the bar so high that most places around have stopped doing saltwater, because they can't compete. Even though it's a pet shop we don't smell like it. We work hard to keep the place clean, animals healthy, and customers coming back. You can check us out at Sandy's Pet Shop - Directions.

Even though we are the best pet shop around. Recently we've been on local news and Good Morning America for the wrong reasons. A family recently stole about $50 worth of stuff, a little girl was envolved which is why it has become a big story. The mom has been caught and is facing felony charges, the dad has took off and left the mom to pay the consequences. The real loser however is the little girl, I feel for her. We make it obvious to everyone who comes in that they are being recorded. You will even see yourself in a monitor overhead as you walk in. I have no idea why this family thought they where going to be able to load their arms up and run out, without being caught.

I just wanted to let the people here on RS know that even though we have received national attention for the wrong reason. We are worthy of that attention for the right reasons. We'd love for you to come in and pay us a visit, but give us a week or two to restock as our selection has been decimated from all the new customers.

Glad you are gaining new customers from the story. I wish I were closer, I would stop in and investigate.
