OT: miss the beach

I almost cried when I checked the surf report this morning:

I miss surfing soooo bad right now. I'm actually gaining some chub around the waist without being able to go surfing on a regular basis

I'm in need of another activity to try and take it's place until I can move back that way.

It helps. But there is no better hangover cure than dawn patrol on a glassy waist-chest high day, followed by lunch at the burrito place followed by another afternoon/late evening surf session.

I know what you mean! I traveled all the way to Oahu to surf and Diana would not let me saying there were shark warning and I could get eaten! BAH!

i know what you mean mike,,,,i moved from hawaii to NJ,,,no "real waves" here, and the ocean is the "wrong" color!!

i took a surf and scuba trip to mexico just to get a fix...that was great~

carefull...once you let the spare tire grow it's hard to get back in shape again!
I just got my fix of sand and surf...it's back in the cave for me till sept.
