Re: Keep Witfull in your thoughts

i hear ya Min,,,,ive been away awhile too~ i know ive been absent from RS, but between real life and work..its all i can do to hang on. got some good news though. Mom may be home for Christmas. she has been having great progress the past 2 weeks. she can walk! be it with a walker for short distance, but shes walking. speaking as a son, and someone that broke their back and had major surgery a year ago (another story and thread) learning to walk again is a major accomplishment. i never totally empithised with what others have gone through, but now, i know what a struggle both physically and mentally elderly parents are. to my younger friends, cherish your time with your parents. let petty issues fall aside, they only detract form that which is important.

Merry Christmas, one and all~

*Disclaimer*
i say this as my best advice to a beginner. do not,,,and i repeat,,,,,DO NOT look at my tank as an example....i have a well practised eye, decades of experience, and a trunkload of failures to allow me to force the issue and get away with things most cannot~

I definitely agree "wit" ya Dave. I'd give almost anything to have dinner or holidays with our parents again. WE are now the "old ones" in the family...I have a good friend who is about my son's age. He often complains about Sunday dinner with his parents. I tell him over and over to enjoy it while he can...soon enough, they won't be there to complain about anymore...

Glad to hear your mom is doing better. Every little improvement is a good sign.
