Re: Whats for Breakfast??

All right guys, no fair making me hungry here. Taking my stepkids to their mother's house in a few then have the whole house to myself for 3 days so I doubt there will be much cooking going on here. I think I need to show up at one of your houses next. All sounds yummy. Well at least I did have Balt stype blue crabs yesterday. Now that was yummy. Hmm should have brought some home with me for an omlett today. That would be good.

Re: Whats for Breakfast??

Would it be the Old Bay that makes it Baltimore Style?

Re: Whats for Breakfast??

You got it Gina. That's what I have always heard them called anyway. The regular hard shell blue crabs steamed in old bay, peppers, rock salt, and I really don't know what else. LOL Well beer is always included as well.
My mother was born in DC so I was raised on them as a treat for special occasions.
How wierd is that. In my family, for special occasions, we go to restaurants with newspaper on the tables. LOL Sorry, just thought of it that way.
