My kids are being absolute buttheads for the second day in a row. Might be a 2 potter. Getting ready to have a whoopin for everyone.

My kids have matching shiners.
Yesterday the for year old hit the floor hard after running around the house. Lookin sweet. TODAY the 18 month old pulled a sizable corner shelf onto himself. Now he has a black eye. Then the usual, trying to find ways to electrocute himself.

Someone needs a spanking...other than me.

It's been quiet for the last hour or so. Dale is at a formal. I didn't feel like finding a sitter and dressing up.

I hope I can get one kid down soon.

I don't know what kind of morning I will have. I have errands to run, but I also need to get the kids in the tub and then supervise my husband while he gets his tank equipment clean.

I managed to avert a senseless beating today, Kath.
Watching the equipment cleaning process was nuts...still not complete, but I think I'll finish it off. My husband cleaned the pump in the sump and changed out the UV sterilizer bulb on his tank. Plenty of work left. Anyway, he is putting the crap back together in the sump. Plugs in...

Nada.

Zilch.

A few expletives.

I say: "Something is probably gunked."

He's growling around nothing is gunked, had I not expected him to clean up his crap, his pump would be working...now it's fried.

I say: "I'm guessing gunk, take it back to the sink, reclean...plug into the socket to make sure it works before messing with it in the sump...someplace in water before you give yourself a jolt."

"It's fried."

"Alright, I am just trying to give you an alternative outside of panicking."

I go back to doing whatever. He takes the pump back to the sink. Takes it apart. Puts back together and plugs in...

Works.

So he unplugs takes it back to the tank. Doesn't want to work. So then he said something is shorting.

"Try plugging it into the other outlet to see if we are indeed overload."

Plugs in...

Nuthin'.

Hell if I know, but it works now. But maaaan, the drama.

pfft...that's not drama But I am glad it's working now does your husband usually clean his own tank...I thought you were the "Reef Master" of the house.
