Re: OT~Good Morning Thread (reborn)

Steph...don't even get me started on bunnies. I have about 100 new freakin weeds sprout up in the yard on a weekly basis...everytime I pull I see rabbit crap.

Mucci...criminal trial??? What in the heck did you do? I better not find out that you've been suckering people out of Cadlights and selling them on eBay!

I am not certain why I am not sleeping. The caffeine has been cut back, I try to stay away from evening cardio, which has not been difficult since we have had wind. I don't like to say that I have stress, because then I jinx myself, but nothing has been going on here that I have not been able to handle.

yum.
I think I misspoke about the Spanish omelette! The farm hotel we stayed at there had eggs every morning cooked with wild mushrooms, fontina cheese, and green onions. They tasted So different though. So I asked to watch them cook them... that was an interesting "conversation" because none of us spoke the same language!

They cooked over very low heat, first in Spanish extra virgin olive oil, the mushrooms and the tops only of the green onions (that had been pulled that morning, the mushrooms picked that morning!)...for about 20mins, with quite a bit of coarse ground salt (not good for bp). The eggs were broken into the pan and stirred as they cooked very slowly.. no milk added. Very near the end small chunks of fontina were added. The eggs were ready just as the fontina began to melt. The eggs were a bit oily, so you need to use more oil than you'd think.

They probably tasted so good because I was at a posh farm hotel in Spain! No potatoes! No tortillas! South Beach friendly! I've made these now many times since I've been home and I've about perfected them. If only I could look out my window and see the volcano mountains surrounding the hotel.

I know! Let's go! I know how to get there!

Re: OT~Good Morning Thread (reborn)

Mucci, hang in there, do that paperwork... methinks you COULD separate civilian criminal from UCMJ, need a military atty for that though... plus IF it was after the fact... (Mike was a recruiter, he heard a lot of this stuff)

and thanks guys!! there's been no crying yet but I nearly decked mike earlier. not a big deal, just knee jerk reaction to him doing something I didn't necessariy agree with when I've not goten enough sleep...

Re: OT~Good Morning Thread (reborn)

Barb those eggs sound so good.
I'll have to try cooking them that way one weekend. I dont want to have to get up an hour early during the week.

We found the eggs in Spain to have amazing flavor.
We went to several markets and grocery stores and all the eggs were brown and they were NOT refrigerated at all.

They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Re: OT~Good Morning Thread (reborn)

Kathy don't worry it's not UCMJ nonsense..surprisingly I was a saint in the Marines (well as much of a saint as I can be) No the criminal trial is from that stinking jerk richard when we had our fight..I have two felony assaults and 3 misdameanors. But I'm not worrying about that right now...now it's time to enjoy life...and go to bed. Good night RS.
