Good morning from beautiful sunny Cleveland Ohio! No coffee for me until I get my cholesterol checked at 10:25 in the a.m. Well, I could have some black coffee but I can't do that. I'll toast you all with a nice glass of iced green tea?

Big Al...I used to feel that way but have learned to get past all that for the sake of my sanity. My children need me to be caffeinated. However, I have never learned to stomach McDonald's or Starbucks coffee. Sometimes I think they forget to add water to that crap.

Barb, I should be getting my cholesterol checked hopefully by next Monday, amongst other things. So I will be fasting. I have new blood pressure meds waiting for me at the clinic today. I can't wait. What a difference a few mgs make. Kids are coloring on the walls (I have this vision of the kid writing FART on the trailer wall in "Raising Arizona" lol) asking to do whatever, and I'm all mellow taking it all in. "Looks great, hon." "Why yes you can cut the dog's hair! Sounds like a plan."

Top 'o the mornin to ya all...

Getting coffee'd up here and ready for the first of my semester finals this morning in Environmental Conservation...sitting pretty good with a solid A for the course, PLUS some extra credits waiting if I need them...but it's still a final exam and as always, there's some stress involved with taking them.
Tomorrow is my Business Law final...and I haven't even cracked the book nor written my (minimum) of 5-8 page essay...yet. THAT'll come later today. I expect that it'll end up at least 15 pages if not much more. (I GOTTA learn to summarize better!)

Once upon a time, I started my education at the College of Ag at Southern Illinois University. I did that for a 1 1/2 yrs. Got up in the morning, stared at twigs...environmental conservation sounds like an interesting course to me!

Just back from my friend, Doc Martha. No wonder I'm still not feeling well, and sweating; I have pneumonia! She gave a good listen, and when she heard about how I'm sweating she sent me off for a chest xray. Sure enough, there it was. So, a round of Cipro for me. And a nap today, I think.

Hopefully, my cholesterol is still in good shape. Last year it was 168, with LDL of 90. BP was 110/68, so that's all good. Lost 12 lbs!
