Re: OT~Weekend Whiteout

Hmm Witty, sounds like it's about time for the city/county snowplow to make another pass by your place...I remember those dirty buggers...seems like they'd raise the wing just as they'd pass my driveway, and dump 3 feet of crusty nasty hardened snow & ice...right in the driveway...just about the time I'd get it all shoveled out from the last time...
I sure don't miss snow a bit...

Just do like we do here in NC...don't go anywhere! LOL We close the schools, the stores, sometimes the roads, everything! The only people that have to work are the unfortunate ones that get snowed in at the hospital. Even if they could leave, they can't until their relief gets there. Happened to me once. I was 8 months pregnant and stuck at the hospital working for 3 days with just naps here and there.

Re: OT~Weekend Whiteout

Great photos everybody!

Well, we've had a weekend 'sunout'...

Sunny and in the 70's for the past three or four days... this is the one time of year I really like being outside. Otherwise, it's either too wet, or too dang hot.
The snow does look nice, though... as long as I could go home afterward.

Re: OT~Weekend Whiteout

LOL... sorry to salt your wounds.

Well, up here in Northern California, we have an earthquake... oh... maybe once every 25-30 years, and then it's usually under 4.0...

Now LA and San Francisco have little tremblors much more often, but I don't plan on living in any of those areas.
