Re: New Octopus PRO 250 Skimmer!!!

Octopus is working on a 2 pump configuration. How about a dual pump Recirculating Skimmer?? There are some really nice models out. Let us know.

Re: New Octopus PRO 250 Skimmer!!!

I love the current dual recirculating models, but unfortunately they are using the octopus pumps which are not very energy efficient at all. If they use the new laguna pumps then am ready to buy one right now

How about a Reeflo 200? Beautiful skimmer! We can give ya a killer deal. Very energy efficient for its rating and performance.

Re: New Octopus PRO 250 Skimmer!!!

That is a nice skimmer, it looks like the sequence needle wheel, 120 watt and non submersible right?

what am looking for is something that is simmilar to the ATI buble master 250 but not as expensive, using dual pumps non circulating configuration with no mesh mods. So something larger than the new octopus in the first picture with dual pumps(<40 watt each). As soon as you have one of those I am going to jump all over it ... please make it so number 1

Re: New Octopus PRO 250 Skimmer!!!

It is a Sequence pump. There has been reports that the Reeflo 200 pump is only drawing 97 Watts. That is really good for a skimmer this size. But if your looking for something smaller in a non recirc you might want to hold off till Octopus comes out with there dual pump version(octopus pro). I will let you know when they get released.
