Who vandalized In Living COLOR??

Please note this is being posted in: New Jersey Reefers Club.

I just got back from In Living Color in Cherry Hill. It was closed. There were a couple of water damage restoration trucks parked outside. I peeked in and it was a mess. A note on the door said temporarily closed due to vandalism.

still closed. drove by yesterday. i was on my way to Capt. Nemos and was talking with John (Subrosa) and he says they are replacing everything including sumps, PVC and tanks.

That sux! I doubt this was a random act of vandalism. Someone had it in for this store and acted out. I have no doubt there will be an arrest.

Do you think Aquarium Discount Pet Center had an axe to grind?

At about a mile away they had closed their doors only months before after many years in business, surely the newer store, ILC took their share of business, as well as Pet smart down the road on 73. At least it did mine.

Also ILC was an aquarium store once before in that same location and closed it's doors before reopening as ILC. What was up with that? Same owner?

I'd have to agree with you on PETA, sharky. I don't think they'd kill animals to make their point.

Do you know the owners of Aq. Disc. Pet Center? I know there's brothers and a couple locations. I'd hate to think it was a business competition thing.

No I didn't think there were brothers? Just friendly stores with similar names: Pet/Value/Discount(?). (A sign on the door suggested going to a store on 30 near Village Thrift & The Pub in Camden (Pennsauken?) I used to shop there, I know that guy, too. They *could* be brothers, but again, I don't think so.

please stop any convo on inner store competion. Disc. Aq. Ctr closed. ILC suffered an "undisclosed" issue. conjecture only leeds to accusations. nothing has been proved, let alone theorised. please do not "witch hunt" i think we have evolved past the 1600's.

Yes, Witful, we have evolved from witch hunts to freedom of speech.

A crime was committed and we have every right to discuss it.

Just curious, are you actually quoting someone with the word "undisclosed"????

The store owners? Police? Someone here on-line? Who is not disclosing and why? Your choice of words makes everything all the more intriguing!

I think this thread should not have been started again if there has not been a resolve to the topic. It really serves no purpose and makes me wonder why you reopened it. Isn't there better things to discuss then a vandalized store that hardly no one here has ever been to? Makes me wonder~
