| Bryozoan | Any Marine Fish Breeders in South Jersey? Any Marine Fish Breeders in South Jersey? I am planning on trying my skills with Mandarin Fish. I'm a year to 6 months away from even beginning, the spawning tank will be 180 gallons and I hope to start with breeding peppermint shrimp while the tank gets better established for mandarins. I have a great book by April Kirkendoll on breeding the shrimp, there's NO book for the Mandarin. Just a lot of info you need to sift through . . . . Any local input would be greatly appreciated. In particular, if you have any device you have used to circulate pelagic eggs. I will most likely try with an airstone, but some sources say the eggs are too delicate for that and some say they had no luck with air. Still another says air works just fine for commerical hatcheries hatching pelagic eggs. It will all be a BIG experiment. . . . Here are a BUNCH of links on Mandarin Fish: [url]www2.hawaii.edu/~delbeek/delb15.html http://news.nationalgeographic.com/n...darinfish.html www.aquahobby.com/marine/e_mandarin_2.php www.underwaterphotos.com/article3.htm http://www.animal-world.com/encyclo/...ndarinfish.php http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh...hreadid=824111 www.wetwebmedia.com/mandarins.htm www.joshday.com/mandarinfish.htm http://www.marineaquariumadvice.com/...endidus-2.html The Synchiropus splendidus Series by Terry D.
