I need to book a room at a hotel near the aquarium. Those of you that live there need to tell me the bad areas to stay away from. I hear there are some really bad places and I'd hate to stay in the wrong area

Doni,
I would suggest you book a room out of the city. Not that any areas right around the Harbour would be bad but, it would certainly be cheaper out of the city.

My daughter and her husband stayed here when they came up last year and said it was really nice.
If you wish, Mark and I could pick you up there and take you to the Harbour with us.

Yes, we will be driving up Friday night and leaving Sunday. I have to work all day Friday so we won't get there until late.. I'm guessing around 11 pm or so depending on traffic.
