Compartment mix?

I know this has prob been discussed already but I couldnt find a thread when I searched..

What do you guys put in your 3 compartments of your JBL Nano cube?
I just got the 12 gal deluxe and am wondering what to put in them.

I've heard of people using Chemipure in the first compartment and Live rock in second...

Re: Compartment mix?

you can put some sort of chemical filtration ie; carbon, phospate remover, or you can put live rock rubble for added bio-filtration, or a sponge to collect diterus(clean it often)

i say this as my best advice to a beginner. do not,,,and i repeat,,,,,DO NOT look at my tank as an example....i have a well practised eye, decades of experience, and a trunkload of failures to allow me to force the issue and get away with things most cannot~

Purigen is good stuff and you can recharge it. Clears the water real nice.
