New Nanotank

I have a newly cycled 2-gallon tank with 2 red mangroves and 1 large clump of Chaetromorpha. I intend to keep it fish-only for now. Can anyone suggest good first fish for the tank?

Re: New Nanotank

with a 2g tank,,,,its tough, i might suggest a pair of clown gobies, or a pistol shrimp goby pair.

Re: New Nanotank

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I am leaning towards a goby/shrimp pair myself. I'll keep you posted on my progress.

Re: New Nanotank

With such a small tank I wouldn'd add any fish, but if you decide to add one then I would pick a goby that stays very small like a Hi Fin Red Banded Goby/Pistol pair, the Yellow Watchman would get too big IMO.

Re: New Nanotank

Yes, a Hi-fin/Pistol pair is what I was thinking of. Since my aquarium is located near a window, it also receives a lot of natural sunlight. So, I am also considering some low-light corals.
