Aquapod 12gal blocking lower vents

Can anybody tell me specifically the best way to block the two lower vents in the Aquapod 12 gal.
Acrylic, underwater epoxy? Block from the front or rear?, etc.

I had a 24 not a 12 but it had these slider pannels you could add and remove.

I used epoxy on mine. Put the pieces on the inside (rear) of the compartment so they're not seen in the display portion.

Do you mean to use the epoxy on acrylic pieces to adhere to surface around the vents?
How does that work for you? A decent seal? Any problems with it coming off later?

Yeah, I have the 24 as well but the 12 doesn't have the panels.
