Oceanic Skimmer?

My wife is getting a BC14 and I've tossed around the idea of getting one of those small Oceanic skimmers as I figure it could probably handle a tank the size of a BC14 but I'm wondering if one will still fit if I mod the tank and widen the wall between the 1st and 2nd chambers like I did in my BC29?

I wouldn't even bother with one of those oceanic skimmers, I had one and it didn't do anything at all for my 29BC. Unless I was using it wrong but it was pretty easy to figure out. I'd rather spend my $50 on a nice piece of coral.
