| Ricordea | Is the center section of the back compartment big enough to have a tunze doc 9002 in sump model on the ap 24 mh model also would I be able to put a aquafuge hang on back refugium small on the back to cultivate some chaetomorpha and also maybe run some carbon. ![]()

| Bryozoan | Re: Aquapod question Well, it's a little late and I've been missing for quite some time, but the answer to your question is yes - you can run the Tunze 9002 just fine. I've been doing it for 2 years on the 24 with no problems. It's a little tight, but it fits on the side with the overflow. There's not enough clearance on the side with the return pump. I don't see why you couldn't hang a Aquafuge on the back, although I haven't done it. There's a lot of lip room back there. That would probably go on the return pump side. Thought I would chime in just in case anyone else stumbles in this direction during a search for the same subject.
