| Tuxedo Urchin | Re: Is it wise to buy salt water fish from internet? sure. I dont do it because of shipping cost, but some places are better than LFS because they will give you 15 day gaurantees on your fish. If you are placing a large order in my opinion it is worth it, but if you are just not buying a huge $ amount of fish then just go to a LFS. |

| Reef Addict (hopeless) ![]() | Re: Is it wise to buy salt water fish from internet? I buy local for most things "Live" but I have to admit I give our "Sponsors" a good bit of business too. I have no problem ordering from a reputable online source especially if they have an "Arrive Alive" guarantee. take a moment to go to our "Sponsors" page. When you contact one be sure to mention you're an ES member as they may offer an additional discount. ![]()

| Sunshine Reefer ![]() | Re: Is it wise to buy salt water fish from internet? It really depends on the vendor. You want to make sure you are dealing with a reputable vendor. I would not buy fish off of e-bay or anything like that. I have had several great experiences and only one bad. The bad was not one of our sponsors. My bio-load is maxed so I really don't buy fish anymore, but I frequently order coral from our sponsors.

| Over Achiever | Re: Is it wise to buy salt water fish from internet? I've never had any problems ordering on-line. I have ordered both fish and inverts from several different on-line vendors. Like was previously stated, seek out reputable vendors that offer guarantees etc. |
