Re: Before & After Aquascape

Actually it was $13 per stick. Is the aquamend at Home Depot safe for marine aquariums? By the way, it is being used to hold some rocks in place that wouldn't normally stay there...should I use extra amounts to make sure they are held in place super good?

Re: Before & After Aquascape

from what i've read on this forum plus the fact that i've been using it now for a couple months without any issues, i'd have to say yes. its labeled for use in water and i am going to take a guess that if you compared the ingredients from the LFS brand vs aqua mend, they'd probably be the same.

it would be nice though if there was a way to change the color safely for the epoxy...the white stands out a little too much for those rocks and corals that require a large amount. mine has started to get some algae on it which is good, sorta mutes that bright white color.

Re: Before & After Aquascape

T.S.K; that is not its intended use. Or if it is thats false advertising. Its best used to keep stuff were it is, not where it normally wouldn't be.

Steve; The white will darken to match the rock in no time.
